What will I be able to do as a registered user of myMTGcards.com?
First, you will have complete unrestricted access to our Card Search utility, allowing you to search for and find every single card from Alpha all the way to Dark Ascension. Second, you will be able to use the Inventory feature, which gives you the ability to easily enter and store your entire MTG collection and analyze its worth. Third, you'll be granted access to our visual Deck Builder featuring deck analyzing charts and random test draws. Finally, if you're so inclined, you may sign up as a Seller and begin selling your singles through our user-based store. You also qualify to be a Beta Tester of both the Inventory Feature and the Deck Builder, which gives you a free opportunity to try both services for 30 days.

Does it cost anything to be a registered user?
It costs nothing to sign up, and with your free registration you will have unlimited access to our Card Search utility. The other site features can be purchased à la carte. The reason for this is that we want to make it as affordable as possible and we also realize that not every user wants to use every feature: some users may not want to be Sellers or some may only want to use the Inventory feature, but not the Deck Builder - or any combination of the three.

Here is the breakdown of fees for all of our services:

Do you have a trial period so I can check it out for free?
We are currently accepting Beta Testers which will allow you to use both the Inventory Feature and the Deck Builder free for 30 days. If you are not already a registered user, you will need to sign up for a free regular account before you can be accepted. As a Beta Tester, you'll have full use of both features to test out and determine what you like, what you don't like, and to find problems or errors, if any. At the end of the beta period, your access to beta testing will be terminated and you will be asked to report on your experience as a Beta Tester. Your testimonials and suggestions will be used to improve and market the product for future users. You will not be compensated monetarily for your time and you will not be billed for use of the service. At the end of the Beta period, you may opt to purchase either or both features to continue using them. However, you will be under no obligation to do so.

How does the Inventory feature work? Can I see some screen shots?
The Inventory feature starts out by using a modified card search feature so you can search for the cards you want to add to your inventory. Most of the time you will search by card name or by set, but you will also be able to search by type, rarity, color and foil only (see screenshot 1). The results of your search will yield a detailed list and provide you with the name, type, mana cost, set, and rarity, plus high, middle and low market values for all the cards found - and you can get a quick view of each card image by mousing over the card name (see screenshot 2).

If you want to see your results as images instead of in a textual list, you can do that as well (see screenshot 3). Whether you view your results as text or images, this is where you can easily input the number of each card you own and save your inventory. You may also use the +F link to add a foil. Finally, by checking out your Inventory Stats, you will see a breakdown of the chosen set's statistics and information about your own inventory, including the amount of cards owned, the value of your inventory and which cards you need to complete the set (see screenshot 4).

How does the Deck Builder work? Can I see some screen shots?
The Deck Builder starts out by using a modified card search feature so you can search for the cards you want to add to your deck. You can search by card name, set, type, rarity, and color (see screenshot 1). The results of your search will yield a detailed list and provide you with the name, type, mana cost, set, and the number in your inventory for all the cards found - and you can get a quick view of each card image by mousing over the card name (see screenshot 2).

If you want to see your results as images instead of in a textual list, you can do that as well (see screenshot 3). Whether you view your results as text or images, this is where you can easily see if a card is already in your deck, and if not, add it with one click. Once you have added some cards to your deck you'll want to fine-tune the deck with the Deck Manager (see screenshot 4).

Within the Deck Manager, you can view a pie chart on your deck's Mana Curve and bar charts on color and type distributions (see screenshot 5). Finally, when you think your deck is ready, it's very helpful to see how your deck will draw out by utilizing the Test Draw feature (see screenshot 6).

Tell me more about becoming a Seller
Seller accounts are currently unavailable. If you are a registered user, we will send you an email to alert you when they do become available. Once you sign up as a seller, we will leverage your online inventory and turn it into a store without any further work on your part. As long as you keep your inventory and prices up to date, that's all you need to do to sell your Magic: The Gathering® singles. Payments will be sent to your PayPal account instantly and you will be notified of all sales as they happen via email! And much like eBay, your customers will be able to rate their transactions with you. As you probably know, your rating will become very important for future sales.
